Athletics New Zealand Awards
At the Athletics NZ AGM held in Palmerston North on Saturday we acknowledge and congratulate these Centre people who were deserved recipients of the following :

Dianne Rodger
Athletics NZ Merit Awards
Debbie Strange
Criss Strange
For Debbie and Criss to have been awarded a Merit Award they needed to have demonstrated a sustained a substantial contribution to the sport as an official and/or administrator and/or coach at regional and national level and still be currently involved in the Athletics. Two very special people that contribute hugely to our sport at all levels.
Athletics NZ Long Service Awards
Cliff Thomas (Fairfield)
Peter Blackwood (Whakatane)
Lynette Lockhead (Te Puke)
For them to have gained an Athletics NZ Long Service Award, they needed to have given significant service to the sport at either club, regional or national level, or a combination of them, for over 20 years
