THERE HAVE BEEN SOME CHANGES TO ENABLE US OPERATE SAFELY UNDER COVID-19 ALERT LEVEL 2 AND TO MEET MASS GATHERING RESTRICTIONS:
Entries are online only, by Thursday 20th August. Please note that entries may be capped if we get to the limit for mass gatherings.
There will be no prizegiving, medals will be sent out to clubs after the event.
The main race has been pushed back to 12:15pm, to provide separation from the junior race. Junior athletes are to leave after their race. Athletes in the main race are to keep away from the race area until the junior athletes have finished their race (11.30am) and to leave straight after finishing.
Sign in at the venue using the displayed contact tracing poster or by filling in the sheets at the venue.
You can use the field next to the sports centre car park to warm up on to keep away from the start/finish area. Please avoid congregating in large groups during your warm up or when collecting your number.
NO SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED. If you are not competing please do not attend unless you are a parent bringing your child. For parents please keep away from the race area during competition. You can send your child to the start/finish area a few minutes before the race start.
Be prepared that if there is wet weather we won’t be able to use any indoor spaces for shelter.
Above all please be mindful that we are very fortunate that the school is allowing us to use the venue. We all need to respect the rules to ensure that this event is conducted safely.
