Event Details

The Auckland Centre, with support from Waikato Bay of Plenty, is again running a Challenge Day competition for the Grade 10/11. The Challenge Day teams are created from the two cluster groups operating in the Auckland Centre, CNW and Counties Manukau. The Waikato Bay of Plenty Centre is joining the competition this year, and depending on numbers will either compete as a combined WBOP team, or as a Waikato team and a BOP team if there are sufficient entries

The competition will start mid- morning and go through the day. At the completion of the competition there will be dinner for the athletes as well as a prize giving were the individual and team awards are presented to the athletes and teams. The points for the competition are based on the 5 Star athletics scoring charts. All athletes receive a certificate at prize giving with their total points across their individual events determining which level of certificate they achieve. The team awards are a based on a combined total of the individual awards for each team.
